He was admitted to the DC Bar in 2017 after which he worked for years at Fastcase Legal Research as a product manager. Samantha Granger

Associate

“Sam” received her J.D. from Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2018 with an emphasis on Environmental Law. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Sam was eager to find a place where she could explore and enjoy nature more. The friendly people, landscape, and general beauty of Vermont drew Sam here for law school. In 2019, Sam joined Marylou Scofield, P.C. where she helped a solo attorney maintain a busy real estate practice. In the summer of 2019 Sam headed to Nome, Alaska for a clerkship with the Honorable Judge Romano D. DiBenedetto. The clerkship provided Sam with practice in legal research, legal writing, and provided valuable one on one feedback. Upon her return to Vermont in the summer of 2020 Sam rejoined Marylou Scofield, P.C. where she dove into learning all about real estate law and real estate transactions. During this time Sam efficiently managed a caseload of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Sam enjoys helping to ensure closings go as smoothly as possible and helping clients with their new adventures. The firm has now transitioned to Mountain View Law, PLLC where Sam continues to work with clients from their first phone call to the firm through to the closing table.

Sam lives with her husband and son in Clarendon, VT. In her free time Sam enjoys spending time outside hiking, kayaking, and walking her three dogs. Sam also enjoys volunteering with a local animal rescue and reading.
